The style and lettering of this hat is a modern spin on the original API hats designed by Colonel Jeff Cooper. The logo on the front of the hat is a globe because the API has grown and expanded into the world stage since its formation. Many of the original teachings are taught and referred to around the world. The hat is colored in hunter's orange, so it can be worn everywhere from the range to the woods. Beyond this, the American Pistol Institute stands for gun safety, education, and American ingenuity and this is what you are representing when you wear this hat.
